This suit is made from a wool fabric called Crispaire from Holland and Sherry (H&S). H&S are a renowned British textile and fabric merchant, specialising in producing high-quality fabrics for the luxury market, particularly in suiting and tailoring. Crispaire is one of their fabrics known for its lightweight and breathable properties, making it suitable for warm weather or climates. It typically has a crisp and smooth texture which helps it maintain its shape. 

On the scale of suit fabric formality, Crispaire comes a notch below the typical worsted wool fabrics you see on the racks of clothes shops. It is similar to fresco that is often used for trousers and suits but is a bit smoother. For this reason, it makes a good choice if you want a slightly more casual suit. They will still be appropriate for formal business environments but will transition more easily into social settings. Some examples of when you might find a Crispaire suit useful are:

• Summer events such as garden parties and weddings
• Destination weddings in warm locations. You will look sharp without looking like you’ve dressed for a business meeting. 
• Business travel: Crispaire suits a quite crease resistant so they stand up well to travel. If you hang the suit in the bathroom at the end of the day, by the morning any creases will have fallen out and it will be ready for another day’s wear. 
• Everyday business wear: especially in warmer climates, these suits offer the advantage of looking professional while wearing cooler than other wools. 

This example has been designed to match the formality of the fabric. It is a classic suit design with a medium lapel, some shoulder padding and structure and hip patch pockets. The trousers also have a flat front and no turn ups. The colour is a slightly lighter navy which is a bit less formal than a darker navy. All of these choices contribute to the overall look of a professional suit but leaning toward the casual side. It is also ideal for everyday businesswear. It can be worn with a cotton shirt, tie and smart black oxfords, but can also be dressed down by, for example, wearing it with a long-sleeved polo shirt and loafers. 

In this example, it is worn more formally. The shirt is white with a narrow blue stripe. The more casual element is that the tie is in cashmere / wool blend which makes it less smooth and formal than a silk tie. The shoes are black oxfords with some broguing on the toe box.
